5 Ways to make Your Disney World Vacation Extra Romantic.

Go for a Sunset stroll on the boardwalk

Disney’s Boardwalk is very romantic at night. The boardwalk is lined with lights, nice shops and exquisite restaurants. When we were there it was not very busy making it even better for a nice sunset stroll after dinner.

Have an Adult Drink (or two)

You can drink pretty much anywhere at Disney World but your choices are limited at Magic Kingdom. We will usually visit Magic Kingdom in the morning. It’s often the busiest park throughout the day and it’s much less busy first thing in the morning. We will head to a different park for the evening and grab a drink. Epcot is our favorite. You can sample drinks from around the world at Epcot and we’re particularly fond of the beers from Germany and the sake from Japan.

Ride in a Horse Drawn Carriage

It’s Disney World, of course you can take a horse-drawn carriage! Check out carriage rides at Disney World. You can catch one at Port Orleans or Fort Wilderness. During the holidays, there is also a holiday sleigh ride. Swooooon.

Eat at a nice restaurant

As foodies, we love a good restaurant and we always make sure our Disney World itinerary is choked full of amazing eats.

If money is no object, go to Victoria and Alberts. You can read our Victoria and Alberts review here. This is easily one of the most luxurious and romantic restaurants on property. You can add even more romance to your evening by dressing up in your absolute BEST attire. Victoria and Alberts is for those who want to splurge.

Some other options if Victoria and Alberts is out of your budget or it is completely booked are: Jiko, California Grill and Monsieur Paul.

Watch the Fireworks

No romantic Disney World trip would be complete without watching at least one of the fireworks shows. This is our favorite way to end the day. The fireworks alone are romantic but you can add even more romance by changing up where you view the fireworks from.

View the fireworks from a restaurant. California Grill is a great spot for viewing the Happily Ever After fireworks at Magic Kingdom. Several of the Epcot restaurants are great for viewing Illuminations. Some even have patio areas so you get dinner and a show.

Want a VIP view of the fireworks? Go for a desert party. Both fireworks show have a desert party where you can eat some of the most delectable desserts and you get a VIP view of the fireworks show. The desert parties are only available on certain days and spots are limited. Make sure you book well in advance if you want in on this experience.

Watch the Disney World fireworks show from a boat. There are lots of other options for viewing the fireworks from the water. There are a lot of different prices for these options. You can charter a yacht, go for a dinner cruise, rent a pontoon or take a shared boat with other guests.
